-
- The guide leaves much to be desired as opposed to the program which IMO is great.
-
- All you have to do is make sure you have the proper configuration. In my conferences
- configuration, I added "EMail", as a conference, within my new "system".
-
- This is in spite of the fact that my provider gave me names for two different
- servers, "news.xxx.xxx" as the newsserver, and "postoffice.xxx.xxx" as the mail
- server. Although I set up 2 different "systems" in Thor at first, one for each of
- the above, I subsequently found that my newsserver would take care of my EMail,
- both sending and retrieving.
-
- So, try adding EMail to your list of conferences. Configure the "user info"and
- the other two parameter groups.
-
- Then when you want to write a letter, in your main Thor reader window, click on
- "enter". This will bring up Thor's internal editor, or an external editor of your
- choice if you have so configured your system.
-
- If your newsserver won't handle the EMail, you then have to configure "systems"
- with the name of your mailserver, access the main window by clicking on the
- mailserver, and going to "enter" to write your letter.
